Buenos Aires is the most visited city in South America (ahead of Rio de Janeiro) and the second most visited city of Latin America (behind Mexico City). Also, it is known for its European-style architecture and rich cultural life. Buenos Aires defines itself as a multicultural city, being home to multiple ethnic and religious groups. Also, several languages are spoken in the city in addition to Spanish, contributing to its culture and the dialect spoken in the city and in some other parts of the country. This is because in the last 150 years the city, and the country in general, has been a major recipient of millions of immigrants from around the world, especially from Europe, Asia and Latin America, making it a melting pot where several ethnic groups live together and being considered as one of the most diverse cities in Latin America. San Carlos de Bariloche, usually known as Bariloche, is a situated in the foothills of the Andes on the southern shores of Nahuel Huapi Lake. After development of extensive public works and Alpine-styled architecture, the city emerged in the 1930s and 1940s as a major tourism centre with skiing, trekking and mountaineering facilities. In addition, it has numerous restaurants, cafés, and chocolate shops. Foz do Iguaçu is the city where is located The Iguacu Falls. It’s on the border of Argentina and Brazil and consisting of approximately 257 individual falls over 2.7 km (1.7 mi) were chosen as one of the “New Natural Seven Wonders of the World.” Also, Foz do Iguaçu is home of the Itaipu dam, the world’s largest hydroelectric plant in power generation.
